Providence Anglican Church is strategically positioned in Jakarta to show forth God's wonders in wonderful Indonesia. We are a community committed to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Anglican tradition.
Our name reflects three foundational aspects of our identity:
Providence
God as our sustainer and provider, guiding all things by His sovereign care.
Anglican
Part of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
Church
God's chosen people, gathered to worship and serve together in love.

Catholic
We embrace the universal ("catholic") faith handed down through the centuries. We treasure the creeds, liturgy, and traditions that connect us to Christians throughout history and around the world.
Evangelical
We are committed to the Gospel (the "evangel") of Jesus Christ. We believe in the authority of Scripture, salvation by grace through faith, and the call to share the good news with all people.
Reformed
We stand in the tradition of the Protestant Reformation, affirming that the church must always be reforming according to God's Word. We hold to the doctrines of grace and the sovereignty of God.
